🏀❤️ AREA GAME NIGHT – REDBEAR HISTORY IN THE MAKING ❤️🏀 Tonight marks something incredibly special for Soper. This is only the second time in school history that our girls have advanced to an Area game and the first time ever in the 5-on-5 era. The first appearance was back in 1983, when girls basketball was still played 6-on-6. That team paved the way. Now, this group of Lady Redbears gets to write the next chapter. These girls have worked, sacrificed, pushed through adversity, and played with heart all season long. They deserve a packed house, loud cheers, and a sea of RED behind them. ❤️ Wear your RED. ❤️ Fill the stands. ❤️ Be loud. Be proud. Just a reminder for parents/students to be cognizant of the dress code for 4-12th grade. For example, all shorts need to be finger tip length. No leggings unless they are worn under a dress, etc. Thanks for your cooperation.

Cheer Camp Update: Our younger cheer campers will be cheering during the girls’ high school basketball game tomorrow around 6:30 PM. Due to the recent ice, the cheer shirts have not arrived yet. If your child could please wear a neon-colored shirt, we would appreciate it. Shirts will be sent home as soon as they come in. Thank you so much for your flexibility and support! -Soper Cheer Team

Students participating in cheer camp tomorrow will be dismissed when school is out and should go directly to the library. Cheer coaches will pick them up from the library and take them to the gym.
For the safety of all students after school, we ask that students do not walk alone. Please visit with your child tonight about going directly to the library and waiting there for pickup.

Spirit week is next week. It’s the last home games of the season. Join us in celebrating and for senior night on February 5th before the basketball game.

🎉 100th Day of School Celebration! 🎉
Pre-K through 3rd grade will be celebrating the 100th Day of School on
📅 Tuesday, January 20th!
Students are invited to wear a shirt decorated with 100 of something.
We will wrap up the celebration with a 100th Day Fashion Show, so get creative!
✨ Shirt Ideas Include:
• “Pushing My Teacher’s Buttons for 100 Days” – decorate a shirt with 100 buttons
• “100 Days of Growth” – decorate a shirt with 100 flowers
We can’t wait to see all the creative designs and celebrate 100 days of learning!

Choctaw County 4-H Speech Contest entries are due no later than January 16.
All entries must be turned in at the Choctaw County Agriplex in Hugo.
All students participating in the speech contest must visit with Mrs. Moffatt about their speech this week, either during lunch or before school.

Valentine’s Day deliveries will be accepted this year with the following expectations: • Balloons are not permitted • All deliveries must arrive by 1:00 PM When placing an order, please ensure the business is aware of these requirements. Reminder: Bingo Night – Soper Livestock Booster Club Join us tonight for a fun-filled night of Bingo in support of the Soper Livestock Show Team and their Premium Sale! Enjoy a delicious Soup & Chili Supper complete with a drink and dessert for $10, and don’t miss our Pie Auction 🍰. We will be serving up some Yummy Soup and Chili with a Drink and Dessert for $10.00.  Plus we will be having a Pie Auction!!!!   So come on out and enjoy Supper, Play some Bingo and win some Great Prizes - all while Helping Support the Soper Livestock Show Team for the Premium Sale. So Bring Your Friends and Family and come Support Our Kids!!! We will start serving Supper at 6:00 p.m. and start playing Bingo at 7:00.
